Discuss New Episode in Our Private Practice Forum! (10/5/2007)
First of all, I want to say is that you should never believe it when people write that 'Private Practice' is dull because, really, this episode was beyond dull. Okay, so maybe the baby switch plot may have been done a million times on probably every medical TV show and yeah, maybe its really cliche but how can you say that it sucked?? Truth of the matter is I cried. I did. It was just so sad and the best thing was, it was real. They really had to give back their babies and one mother had to live knowing her baby wouldn't make it to 6 or 5 years of age. None of the doctors tried to play hero and tried to make everyone have a 'happy' ending. No. And thats what made it so emotional. Also, it was really really good to see them all togther in one place. I mean, even Dr. Charlotte King was there who, by the way, I think really rocks. You see her as the cold person who rules with an iron hand but at the end of the episode, she's human. I really like her. She and Addison could really make a good argument. Had she been on Grey's, it would have made Grey's hella lot more interesting. But back on track, I like it when they work togther because they develop a relationship with one another, a friendship. See, that was one thing I hated on Grey's. Addison and Cristina, would they have made great friends???? Anyhow, the episode started out really goofy. The stripper/entertainer rash thingee was funny but as the shows moves in, it gets serious, as seen with the switched babies. The acting was is to be praised. The two actresses who play the babies mothers were really really excellent. I mean, they got so into it, enough to make me cry. As for our doctors, they did good. Truly did. I think Naomi and Sam might have a chance and there is something between Pete and Addison and definitely a potential in Violet and Cooper to pair up but you know what I think is really going to be a surprise?? I have a feeling Charlotte and Sam will have a thing. Really!! Oh, and Pete and Addison at the end?? Alex, Mark and Derek could have never said that to her!! ^_^ Bring on the next episode!!!!! -- Joyce

In Which Sam Receives an Unexpected Visitor (10/7/2007)
I so agree with Renne. Its really tiring with the 'sex in every plot' kindda thing. The simple stuff and the real stuff do make the show better.

The episode was amazing. Really.
I actually like all the characters in 'Private Practice' amazingly enough. I usually have one character I really dislike but I like all of them in 'Private Practice'.
I'm really really developing a strong liking fo Dr. Charlotte King. She kind of reminds me of Addison at the beginning of Grey's.
And the baby switched plot may havebeen done over and over again but it was still good. I readcirtics saying that this episode wasn't good but really, it was. My opinion that is.
