Loved the virgin storyline. That actress was amazing and she rocked it out. I loved the magic.

BEST episode to date. Only complaint? Addison seemed a little too strident in this episode; I miss the great subtlety of her emotions. Must be tough though to change gears, go from almost slapstick to subtlety. Walsh is extraordinary though; she'll find the right balance.

Not related...  I am desperately trying to find out the name of the two medical conditions that the virgin suffered from.  I think one was vaginissimu but I can't remember the other... vulva something?  Please if anyone can remember please post, a friend of mine has had a problem for years and this might just help.  Stupidly I thought I would remember the name without writing it down...  Thanks all!!!

To the posters who asked the name of the two conditions: the first is vaginismus, which is an involuntary spasm of the muscles surrounding the vaginal entrance. The second is vulvar vestibulitis.  I suffer from the first condition and thought it was great that this show mentioned it, but I thought the treatment and timeframe were a bit unrealistic (What do you expect though? It's TV!). Most women with vaginismus require far more time (weeks or months) to cure it, and usually need some sort of physical therapy as well.  Still, kudos to the show for bringing up these topics

I don't get why people are still talking about last weeks episode in the forum for this week.

Anyway, I think this episode was great.  Except all the cake made me want to bake one.  But I didn't have all the ingredients.  So guess what I'm doing tonight.

The only thing was it felt like Violet was pushing her client into a decision he wasn't sure he wanted to make.  My therapist would never EVER do that to me.  She would encourage me to do what I think is best, but she would never push me into it.  I just think either there is more to it with Violet and Doug or she really isn't that great at her job.

My Wednesdays and Thursdays now belong to the Doctors!

I love new doctors in LA.

I think "private practice" is so interesting.

I really like this episode. Great to see more and more of Addison insecurities about the moving to L.A and this whole I'm the new kind in school problem she has. The others know each other pretty well and Addi is on her own. I hope they work with that loneliness and new kid in school thing a little more, it's interesting.

Vaginismus. Never hear of that before. I can't imagine how annoying that must be. I still wish we get to see surgeon Addison again, she was really cool. How about she works part time at the hospital. Many OB/GYNs here have a private practice and hospital beds for their patients in hospitals, like when the give birth.

I also suffer from vaginismus, which is why I tuned in to the last episode (after seeing the previews).  Props to the show for shedding at least a little light on this awful condition, however unrealistic their time frame for curing the patient was (and I do recognize they have less than an hour to do so).  I would really like to know what exactly it was that Pete did to cure the couple's problem though--that was very vague, and I'm looking for *any* answers that might help me right now... three weeks is nothing compared to years :(.

My TIVO ended before the final few minutes.... the last I saw was the reason behind the blue girls and Pete talking with his wife's gravestone and then it cut out..... So.... Did the newlyweds find their "magic" ?  I am assuming they did, you know.... shows usually end with good news but I am just curious ;-)

    Thank you!
