Private Practice returns tonight with an all-new episode, "Tempting Faith."

Addison receives a visit from brother and fellow surgeon Archer, and his presence not only causes trouble for her, but others at Oceanside (namely Naomi and Sam).

Meanwhile, Meg tries to make it work with Pete, and a patient accused of a malicious crime stirs up a series of anger and emotions, for both Violet and Dell.

A: Grant Show begins his six-episode guest arc this Wednesday, and I just chatted him up, so check back that morning for exclusive scoop from Mr. Archer Montgomery Forbes himself. (Informed speculation: I think Grant Show's character, Archer, is part of the big spring crossover between Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, and more significantly, I think he may be the reason for the series' big spring crossover... We'll see!) In other news, that bee-yotch Charlotte King starts a competing practice in the upstairs space and starts stealing patients from Oceanside - I was just starting to like her, but I'm totally taking that back now.

Tonight, on an all-new episode of Private Practice, Addison treats a pair of pregnant women who unknowingly share the same husband. Seriously.

Elsewhere, a visit from an Alzheimer's patient and her husband forces Sam and Naomi to continue their ongoing look at their own relationship.

Also, Violet confronts Charlotte about her relationship with Cooper, while Dell reveals a very special woman in his life to his surprised co-workers.

Kate Walsh partied at Tao in Las Vegas over the weekend, helping the club celebrate its third anniversary - and former Grey's Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo celebrate her first! It was also Ellen's 39th birthday - makes remembering the date easier.

TV Guide reports that Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice will be teaming up for a new, multi-episode crossover story for February sweeps.

The Grey's Anatomy actor(s) involved has yet to be announced, but Kate Walsh's Dr. Addison Montgomery will again visit ol' Seattle Grace.

Addison returned for an episode of Grey's Anatomy last spring after bolting for L.A. and Private Practice after the end of the third season.

What brings Addison (Kate Walsh) back to Grey's Anatomy this time?

What regular(s) from Seattle Grace might show up at Oceanside Wellness Center? Walsh personally is hoping for her former love interest Mark Sloan (Eric Dane), saying, "It'd be fun to have him cause some trouble!"
