this show looks promising. i'm just not too thrilled that i have another show that i have to devote another hour to.
i really liked how there was a decent focus on the med. cases like there are on grey's. that helped ease me into the show. plus we have Addison as part of the equation.
its good, but its not grey's anatomy.

Much better than I expected after the the mixed reviews. The talking elevator is gone (Thank God). Although the new building where OWC is located is suspiciously taller (Please don't bring back the idiotic elevator device in any reincarnated form). Addison was closer to the Addison we know and love. Really like Violet and Cooper. Great scene with Amy B and the "tile-counter." Show had more a little more depth, felt like the cast was more familiar with each other, tone was better but still needs work. Somehow the comic tone is uneven and a little off. Although finding the comedy between the cast seems to work better than ridiculous patient stories that started years ago with Picket Fences and continued through Grey's. Sperm stealer plot was old and neither dramatic or funny. Flat. I can live with Addison like this. She seems to have most of her spots back. Rock on Kate Walsh.

I was impressed! I loooove Kate Walsh and Addison was definitley my favorite character on Grey's. Good job Shonda Rhimes for keeping her job at Seattle Grace open, way to cover your ass!
I liked how when Naomi was telling Addison about the job, it was kind of like easing us, the fans, in and telling us about the show. There arent going to be as many medical cases each epsiode, its going to focus a lot on each individual one. I felt like Addison was the old Addison we all grew to love, so that was definitley a nice break from crying, wierd Addison.
Overall, not as good as Grey's, but I'll keep watching... I think it will just take them some time to mesh and get into a groove!

we must remember that this is not gray...but good working. i think its promising, like any other spin-off, it still needs work. So keep going Shonda and your team, i know you can pull it off.
I also wonder if reviews are because she is a woman of colour. so there is a lot of attention to see if she can make it. go girl, go.

I loved it. It was much better than our introduction to the show. It's gonna take a while to love it as much as Grey's, but I can see that happening. I seriously started sobbing during the scene when Amy Brenneman's character was talking to the girl counting the tiles about her son. It was so emotional. And I love Addison's speech when she said she's putting her foot down. Both humorous and classic Addison. Kate is doing a great job with the change. I will deffinately watch the whole season.

The naming convention for episodes is really clumsy... think they can do much better than that. Names are labels, they influence how we think of things...including episodes of shows. "In which we meet...?" I don't know where that came from but it must be someone's private chuckle or memory or whatever. Be more creative.
