We were sent a few promotional pictures of Kate Walsh and the entire cast of Private Practice in anticipation of the new ABC series. Needless to say, Kate looks very pretty in pink, while her co-stars look tremendous as well. Enjoy:

As well all know, the new series Private Practice uproots Grey's Anatomy's Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh), placing her in an L.A. wellness center.

Joining Kate are some new doctors, many of them men from action shows. A Canadian magazine took a look at the men of Private Practice, some of whom were killed off on their past shows, while others had their shows killed off.

Either way, Taye Diggs, Tim Daly, Chris Lowell and Paul Adelstein are down for the medical comedy / drama and spin-off of Grey's Anatomy.

Many fans already know about smooth operator Taye Diggs (pictured), but let's take a look at what the other three male leads think about their new gig.

"It's kind of an actor's dream to play an extremist like that, and I felt in very good hands. I felt like my character was in very good hands on Prison Break," said Paul Adelstein.

"I feel like it wrapped up well. Then to go from those hands into Shonda Rhimes' hands is pretty special. It's a different kind of journey but it's a completely different character. You don't pick by genre. You pick by character if you get to pick at all."

"This is not a pick situation. This is a no brainer. This is being called to play in the big leagues and it's just a joy. So to have to, or to get to do that switch, to do it in such good, capable hands, you feel safe, like you can really take a swing at it. I'm just going to keep on using sports analogies."

Chris Lowell got his new job before Veronica Mars got the axe.

"I had signed on for a year of Veronica Mars so I wasn't sure if they were going to be bringing me back, and I don't think they were even sure," he said.

All of us at Private Practice Insider just wanted to pass along our final wishes of congratulations and happiness to star Kate Walsh and fiance, Alex Young, as they officially tie the knot this weekend. We wish them the very best, and look forward to the series premiere of Private Practice September 26!

The doctors will be in the house when Private Practice - the Grey's Anatomy spin-off - premieres on Wednesday, September 26, at 9 p.m. on ABC, and ET's Mark Steines was the first to go behind the scenes of this not new show.

Of course, everyone is familiar with Kate Walsh's Dr. Addison Montgomery, who is moving from Seattle Grace Hospital to Los Angeles and introducing viewers to a stellar cast of co-stars along the way.

Joining Kate Walsh on the new ABC comedy / drama will be a terrific ensemble featuring Taye Diggs, Tim Daly, Audra McDonald, Amy Brenneman, KaDee Strickland, Paul Adelstein and Chris Lowell.

Kate Walsh, of course, is currently engaged ina juggling act with the new series and her personal life, as her wedding to fiancé Alex Young is happening this coming weekend in a posh Southern California location.

As we discussed earlier today, Kate's had at least one Bridezilla meltdown.

While Kate sure is covered in the romance department (regardless of isolated Bridezilla episodes), what about her TV persona? Grey's Anatomy is quite the steamy show - and Addison shared a passionate kiss with Tim Daly's character in the pilot for Private Practice.

"There's been no actual [bed] hopping so to speak," Tim Daly reveals. "I think something's inevitable, something's going to happen. These are adult people that are clearly attracted to each other, so there's nothing really impeding them from hooking up, as the kids say."

So will there be an equal amount of bed hopping when Private Practice officially shows up on the fall schedule on Wednesday, September 26?

"I don't think there's any shortage of heat," Walsh said. "I think people will be quite toasty when they watch the show!"

It's good to see that Private Practice star Kate Walsh isn't letting her busy TV schedule get in the way of planning her wedding this weekend. Or is it?

According to Wikipedia, a "Bridezilla" (a portmanteau of bride and Godzilla) is a term used to describe a difficult, unpleasant, perfectionist bride who leaves aggravated family, friends and/or bridal vendors in her wake.

That'd be a stretch in describing the Private Practice leading lady, but Walsh, who got engaged to boyfriend Alex Young in May, told Entertainment Tonight that she experienced a classic bride meltdown.

In an interview with the celebrity news show, Kate Walsh admits, "I had a fitting a few days ago and who knew someone could get that hysterical about a bra! I said, 'it's not the right bra, it's not the right bra.'"

"The sad part was, there was a mirror there, so I had to see my face turn to stone, the snakes coming out of my hair. It was bad... I can't believe I had a meltdown over a bra!"

But, coming back down to Earth, of her upcoming series premiere and nuptials, Kate Walsh added, "I'm living the dream."

Kate Walsh and Alex Young's surprise engagement came after just one month of dating. They were first spotted together in Hollywood on April 22, and went public with the romance days later at a fundraiser for Barack Obama.

Alex Young is a movie production executive at Fox.

Kate Walsh and her fiance, Alex Young, spent Sunday at Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County's "Pavilion of Wings" - an exotic butterfly exhibition!

How appropriate for the soon-to-be newlyweds, who surely give each other butterflies in their respective stomachs. Sorry, that was cheesy.

Earlier in the day, the couple picked up a few tennis rackets from a repair shop and had another one of their recurring public displays of affection in the car.

Ah, love is in the air in Southern California!

The Private Practice star, 39, and her movie executive fiance, 36, will marry over Labor Day Weekend at California's Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. Wedding planner Jo Gartin will help kick off the three-day event with a rehearsal dinner on Friday, and end it with a post-wedding brunch on Sunday.

The Saturday reception will reportedly be held outdoors at the inn's Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate, with about 110 guests in attendance.

With less than a month to go until the series premiere, fans are starting to get more excited about Private Practice. Which is good to see.
There's more and more buzz about the Kate Walsh-driven Grey's Anatomy spin-off as well. Kristin Veitch of E! Online has some good dirt on a possible romance for Addison in her latest column.

On Monday, September 24, ABC will air new episodes of its fall programs. In this minute-long promotional ad for its fall season, some clips from both Grey's Anatomy and its spin-off, Private Practice, are shown.

Also showcased are other ABC hits such as Desperate Housewives and Dancing With the Stars, both of which retain a large number of viewers.

The long-awaited series premiere of Private Practice is officially scheduled for Wednesday, September 26 at 9 p.m. Grey's Anatomy follows 24 hours later.

Kate Walsh is making it official!

A mere four months after the former Grey's Anatomy actress (and the current Private Practice star) became engaged to film executive Alex Young, the two will tie the knot Labor Day weekend.

That's this weekend!

Kate Walsh, 39, who played Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey's Anatomy and will reprise that role in a new setting in Private Practice, will marry Alex Young, 36, at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa in California.

Former Grey's Anatomy co-stars Sara Ramirez and Katherine Heigl, both good friends of Walsh, will reportedly attend the three-day event.

As always, Kate Walsh and Alex Young aren't doing things by the book.

They dated only a short while before getting engaged, then bought a new place together, and now are making it official - while she's in the middle of filming Private Practice.

Just the same, congratulations to Kate and Alex, and we'll be passing along any more information we get about the wedding to you ASAP!
